Most of you will no doubt be aware of the yearly tech event that is Europe’s largest and most exciting innovation festival – this year, it took place at the Old Truman Brewery in Shoreditch on 18th and 19th July. Unbound London (#UnboundLdn) brings together over 5,000 entrepreneurs, investors, thought leaders and corporations to discuss the latest in Tech and share views on upcoming trends in thought-provoking keynote speeches.
Their Main Stage event has been graced by speakers from Google, Facebook, Twitter and Deutsche Bank. Some of the topics of focus this year were corporate growth through innovation, personalisation and engaging generation Z.
We were invited along to the festival as one of Vodafone’s Top Startups of the Year, shortlisted through their Dig Top 20 programme that received hundreds of applications. As one of the top 6 finalists, we participated in the Main Stage Startup Battle hosted by Vodafone. Two of our team members, Jenny and Chris, gave a 3-minute pitch explaining how Limitless is paving the way in creating a new, more efficient form of customer service, by building and rewarding crowds of engaged Brand Ambassadors.
Jenny, an analyst from Deloitte who is on a secondment with Limitless, said, “It was great fun to participate in the Startup Battle. We had 3 minutes to introduce Limitless, explain what we do, and illustrate how we are driving results for our clients globally. Unfortunately, the competition was tough and the prize went to Spirable and Vidsy- both fantastic video content creation companies. However, I’m very happy with our performance and we received some great feedback!”
Chris, our Solutions Director commented, “We had a great couple of days and want to thank Vodafone for supporting us throughout the DIG programme. It was a great opportunity to spotlight Crowd Service alongside other up and coming Tech start-ups. The UK has a vibrant tech scene and we are thankful to have the support of companies like Vodafone who champion innovation and gave us a great platform to showcase our core product. We’ll definitely be back next year”, Chris added.
We were well positioned at Unbound London as a tech startup that is delivering innovation quickly and in an agile manner. As a business, our aim is to help our clients – the likes of National Express, Unilever and the Daily Mail Group – transform their business operations through Crowd-sourced customer support. Across the board, businesses who’ve adopted our model are seeing the benefits of bringing their most loyal customers into the heart of their business – faster response times, higher customer satisfaction, lower cost to serve and of course, super engaged customers!
