Product availability queries
You can imagine that the most common question is ‘where do I find these delicious Klondike bars!’, and you can help the customer find what they’re looking for.
Use the Klondike website, as it has a handy tool where you can select a store to purchase directly. The link is is www.klondikebar.com/find-a-store and it will locate stores with availability near you. Always try to do the search for the customer and be extra helpful.
We can also advise the customer to speak with their store manager and ask to order it in.
If someone is looking for their favorite product but it’s no longer on the website, it’s likely that it has been discontinued. You can confirm that Klondike does not hold any extra product to sell or any further information regarding future availability.
As Ambassadors for Klondike, we can only answer queries about products within the U.S and so we can't say where exactly to buy outside of the U.S.
Samples or Coupon Requests
Sometimes customers will get in touch asking for free samples or coupons to try the brand’s products.
When there are no coupons or samples we advise the customer to check newspapers and local store circulars for coupons and special offers, as well as keep an eye out for promotions on Klondike's website and Facebook page.
How do I stay updated with the latest news and promotions?
Advise customers to follow the brand on social media so they will be notified when and where samples or coupons will be available!

On occasions Klondike has promotions available to customers, these vary depending on the marketing activity at the time.
All information regarding the promotion(s) currently happening will be on the Knowledge Library for you to view and see if you can help the customer out. Always keep an eye on the website as well as the social media pages.
Recipes and ideas
Klondike loves hearing creative ideas of customers so please encourage them to share it via the Social Media pages.

Unilever’s entire ice cream portfolio does not contain milk and cream from cows treated with artificial growth hormones in 2015. All of the milk and cream used in our products are free of antibiotics and other foreign chemicals including rBGH. Klondike does not use milk or cream with any added hormones.
Use SmartLabel to find information on products
SmartLabel is a super handy tool on the Unilever websites. It’s a program, created by manufacturers and retailers, which enables customers to get additional details about products by scanning a bar code or doing an online search to get information on ingredients and other attributes of a wide range of products.
SmartLabel holds all the information you want to know about the products you are purchasing. It is designed so that customers can easily have access to a wide variety of information but can hone in on a question they have on an ingredient or product in just one or two clicks. The SmartLabel functionality is available on the Klondike website - use it to search for specific product information.
