Questions you can answer as a Dove Ambassador

Product availability questions

One of the most common questions we receive is “Where can I buy my favorite Dove product?” You can help the customer locate the product using’s store locator tool where you can select a store to purchase from directly. The link for the store locator is

The tool will locate stores with product availability near the customer. We recommend sharing this link with the customer so they can do the search themselves. You should also try and search for the product online and advise the customer whether it is available or has been discontinued.

If you are unable to locate the product through the tool you can also advise the customer to speak with their local store manager and request the product.

If someone is looking for their favorite product but it’s no longer on the website, it’s likely that it has been discontinued. You can confirm that Dove does not provide any information regarding future product availability.

As Ambassadors for Dove, you can only answer queries about products within the U.S.A and cannot advise where to buy outside the country

Sample and Coupon Requests

Sometimes customers will ask for free samples or coupons to try Dove products. The best way for customers to stay in the loop about future coupons and samples is by signing up for Dove emails here. When they sign up, they will receive the latest news and offers.
Also advise customers to check their newspaper and local store circulars for coupons and special offers.

Sponsorship or charity requests: When people ask Dove to sponsor their charity or get involved with an organization, you need to use the sponsorship or charity request template in the Knowledge library in the app. This is the template:

General ingredient information

There is generic ingredient information for certain products that you can answer. Please refer to the Knowledge Library in the app for the appropriate templates.

You can use SmartLabel which is a helpful tool available on the Unilever websites. SmartLabel is a program that enables consumers to get product ingredients by scanning a barcode or doing an online search.
