Hey Ambassador

Are you a fan of Fair & Lovely and other HUL brands? You can now help other consumers like you by answering their questions, and earning rewards on the Limitless app. Here’s a quick recap of what you’ll do as an Ambassador.

  • RESPOND to questions in your task list.
  • REVIEW answers from other Ambassadors.
  • EARN money and rewards when you answer a question and it’s been reviewed as the right answer.
  • RECEIVE CONSUMER RATINGS on your answers, which will be displayed on the app as your rating.


And what questions can I NOT answer? 

  • Complaints - dissatisfaction about price, product etc.
  • Sensitive content
  • Import/export queries
  • Ingredient and allergen information
  • Media or legal queries

Product availability

When a consumer is looking for a product, you can use the brand’s website, as it has a handy tool where you can choose a store to purchase directly.

Sample/voucher requests

Sometimes consumers will get in contact asking for free samples or vouchers to try the brand’s products.

HUL only produces samples and vouchers of products for specific marketing activities and so it is best to advise consumers to follow the brand on social media so they will be notified when and where samples will be available! You can also notify them that there are smaller packs of the products readily available in any nearby store.

General queries regarding packaging

On occasions, queries regarding the HUL packaging will come through. There is more information on the Knowledge Library regarding packaging, and how HUL contributes to the environment.

General promotional queries

On occasions HUL has promotions available to consumers, these vary depending on the marketing activity at the time.
If the query is related to a request for charitable funds, please refer the consumer to email Corporate.Communication-Hul@unilever.com.


Consumers may contact wanting to know where they can submit their suggestions and ideas. All information can be found in the Knowledge Library on how you are meant to respond to these queries.

When looking at your Tasklist, you may see various spam queries. When you see a spam query please use the template below:

Thank you for contacting HUL. Unfortunately, we are unable to understand your question so need to close the enquiry.

How to use Product Coding

When responding to Unilever questions you will find a field called Product Coding which helps you provide information regarding which product the consumer is contacting about. This can be the product, the variant and the size.

As you may have seen in the video you need to follow a few steps to enter the product detail and tick/untick the correct boxes.

To start, here is a brief description of what they mean -

Form – What the product is? Is it a soap, shampoo, conditioner, washing tablets etc.

Variant – The name of the product. Is it a colour care shampoo or is it a limited edition Marmite jar

Size – What is the size of the product? This can vary depending on product

Note – You can always read the description of each of these words by hovering over the ‘i’ icon when responding to tasks.

For example – Dove Colour Care Shampoo 50ml
